Walk MS Fundraising Tools
Walk MS may be fun (lots of fun!) but it also has a purpose. The National MS Society is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis, and as a walker, you can help us reach that goal. Here are some tips and tools to assist you as you fundraise for Walk MS.

Matching Gift Program
Do you know if your employer participates in a Matching Gifts Program? If so, this is how you can utilize the program to double pledges. Work smarter, not harder!
- Go to your Human Resource Department and ask if there is a Matching Gifts Program. If so...
- When an employee pledges you, get the Matching Gift form from your HR department, fill out the necessary information and sign it. *Note: Some companies will match volunteer hours with a financial contribution.
- Send the Matching Gift form along with the money to the Arizona Chapter office. We will do the rest! If the contribution was made online (using ePledge), just attach the online confirmation to the Matching Gift form and send to the Arizona Chapter office.
- The National MS Society will send in the form to the appropriate company. If you are eligible to have your pledges or volunteer hours matched, the company will issue a check for the appropriate amount. If you are not eligible, they will issue a letter stating that your pledges or volunteer hours cannot be matched. Depending on your company procedures, checks may be issued annually, quarterly, or in just weeks.
