The 2014 East Valley Walk MS is almost here... Thank you for being involved with the 2nd Annual East Valley Walk MS! Are you ready for an amazing day on Saturday, October 25th? Some important things for you to know before the big day:
ONLINE REGISTRATION ends at midnight on Wednesday, October 22nd. You can register at the event, but it is easier and quicker if registered online. Registration at the event starts at 8:00 am, the opening ceremony begins at 9:00 am, with the walk to kick-off at 9:30 am. All participants must check-in at the Registration booth.
Parking- The best place to park for the event is in the south Desert Breeze Park parking lot near the fire department, which is near where the registration tent is located. Parking is FREE.
T-shirts- Each person must raise a minimum of $100 to receive an event t-shirt.
Our walk route winds around the beautiful Desert Breeze Park and lake and over to the charming Hummingbird Habitat, then back to Desert Breeze Park. The total walk is approximately 1 ½ miles.
MAKE SURE TO COME BACK TO ENJOY THE FESTIVITIES AFTER THE WALK! There will be a DJ, live music, fun activities for the whole family, and Kona Ice snow cones post-walk!! You don’t want to miss the “MS Experience” either.
We will have a short closing ceremony starting around 11:00 am, with the event to end at approximately 11:30 am.
